[Home]PizzaNightHistory

In the winter of 1998-99, we started going to pizza each Tuesday night. It all started when the OldChicagoUptown had half price pizzas on Tuesdays after 4pm. They had the special for two winters, but then they stopped, and we continued to go. Later they decided to have Karaoke night on Tuedsay, and despite the bleeding from our ears, we continued to go. Finally it was brought to our attention that there were other places besides Old Chicago. Up to this point we frequented the OldChicagoUptown and GreenMillUptown, due to their central location, but in the fall of 2000, we decided to branch out. This page contains what we have discovered thus far in our search for Tuesday evening nourishment.

Pizza of Wrath

Originally pioneered with Chris Palmer and Scott Jann as a chicken and jalapeño pizza, the recurring pizza of pizza night is the chicken, jalapeño and pepperoni pizza. It has been called many things, such as Scott's Pizza of Wrath. Needless to say, this is ordered at just about every pizza night that is at a place with sufficient ingredients to create the pizza.
