The Great Places We Went The documentary of Taiwan's Love Boat.

Here is a photo of us at "Waterworld" a fun little water park that really hits the spot on those REALLY HOT summer days of Taiwan. Cute shorts on me, eh? But a water park is nothing when compared to the Ocean! The ocean kicks ass. But when I first played in it, I kind of went over board smashing myself on the waves and the sand swimming out and getting bashed around. But anyhow I was running and crashing into the waves(I am from MN so there are no waves here...Or an ocean for that matter) and later on that evening I was greeted with a huge pain in my ear. In my mad splashing in the ocean I had pack one of my ears full of sand. Boy and let me tell you it doesn't feel very good. But we finally drove for about an hour to find the last hospital that was open then I got my ear drained. Boy let me tell you wear earplugs when you splash around my friends.
a picture of the zoo We also spent some time at the zoo, which was cool, everyone had to be herded out of the bat building becuase that was the only place with air-conditioning. So they had a guard there to keep it moving. The zoo was alright, but the thing about the trips in Taiwan Love Boat camp, they are always in the middle of the day making it nearly impossible to stand up strait or get a decent drink of water.
A Picture of me at the night market Here is a picture of Me Sheander and Julie in front of the Night Market(More about this later).
Some advice to the Chien Tan people of next year. Skip the trips to the places, I guess they are alright but the thing is that the trips are like 4 hours long at one place in this stupid building and you are all bored and hot. Bring some cards SPADES!!!! and just kind of hang out. Sleeping in the room with the thermostat turned down to the "arctic freeze" and sleeping in from the night of partying before would be your best bet.
The uniform guard are pretty cool. They have to stand there for about an hour in the sun with thier dress uniforms on and they are not even supposed to blink. Here are some picts of the guys in really hot and uncomfortable uniforms. Here is the changing of the guard. Of course it only happens once and hour and I ran out of film in the middle of it but you get the idea.
